computational chemistry editorDr. Leo – Computational Chemistry Editor

Dr. Leo is a researcher in the computational chemistry of biomolecules. He first received a Master in Science degree from University College London in 2006. He then earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, under the supervision of Dr. Tanja van Mourik, graduating in 2015. Since then he has worked as an editor and proofreader of manuscripts in the physical sciences, while continuing his research activities.

Dr. Leo’s research explores non-covalent interactions of DNA base analogs that display mutagenic or fluorescent activity. His computational experience includes ab initio methods, density functional theory and molecular dynamics. With several publications of his own, as well as significant experience of working with manuscripts by ESL authors, he welcomes the chance to help computational chemists worldwide bring their research to fruition.
