Ms. Cindy – DOE SBIR Grant Writer, Expertise in USDA, NSF, EPA SBIR Grants
DOE SBIR Grant Writer Ms. Cindy specializes in helping clients prepare and submit R&D grant applications, especially for the SBIR/STTR programs offered by federal agencies such as the USDA, NSF, EPA, and DOE. In her 5 years’ experience in this effort, she has helped clients in a wide variety of innovative industries, including nanocellulose-based product development; kelp, oyster, and mussel aquaculture and product development; small- to mid-sized farm support, low-head hydropower innovations, and dewatering technology development.
She brings over 20 years of environmental consulting experience to assisting her current clients clearly and succinctly communicate complex scientific information to a wide variety of audiences – from the highest level scientists and engineers to the general public. She honed these skills in a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines while working with multidiscipline teams to investigate the nature and extent of waste site contamination; assess its impact on surrounding populations, ecosystems, and resources; and navigate regulatory processes.
In addition to federal SBIR/STTR programs, Ms. Cindy also helps clients prepare applications for other federal funding opportunities, including work with the DOE’s State Energy Planning program and SBA small business accelerator funding. She also works with clients seeking state funding for start-ups and entrepreneurs.
She holds an undergraduate BS in Soil Science from the University of Maine and a MS in Hazardous Materials Management from Tufts University.
