Dr. Amanda is a cellular immunologist by training, with over 12 years of laboratory experience. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology from Yale University (New Haven, CT). She completed her PhD in Immunology at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences (New York, NY). Her dissertation yielded a publication on extrathymic T cell development after bone marrow transplantation, and she has been a co-author on numerous other studies. Dr. Amanda performed postdoctoral studies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York, NY) and the University of Birmingham (Birmingham, UK), and she has also worked outside academia as a senior scientist in a contract research organization. In addition to research articles, she has developed, written, and edited review articles, slide and poster presentations, grant applications, and client reports. Dr. Amanda enjoys helping authors overcome language barriers to present their research, and she is comfortable working with English-as-a-second-language (ESL) authors. She welcomes the opportunity to edit research or review articles, presentations, and grant applications in the fields of molecular and cell biology, with a particular interest in immunology.
