Italian Translator Dr. Rosaria recently completed her doctorate in neuroscience at Delaware State University (Dover DE, USA) and now works as a ScienceDocs writer and Italian translator.  Raised near Florence, Italy, Dr. Rosaria attained a university certificate in midwifery before moving to the U.S. in 1999.  She attained her BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and her MS in Biological Sciences from Delaware State University.  In 2012 Dr. Rosaria began the doctoral program at Delaware State.  Her research focused on investigating the role of a specific dopamine receptor in regulating dopamine release at synapses in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans.   She became especially adept in the use of Flourescence Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP), a technique employed to study molecular mobility and interaction between cells.  She has one publication to her credit and is currently collaborating on a second article based on the final phase of her PhD research.

As her scientific training was begun in Italy and completed in the US, Dr. Rosaria is a proficient scientific writer in both languages.  She can translate competently into either language and is available for writing projects in neuroscience, molecular and cell biology, neurochemistry, behavioral neurogenetics and fluorescence imaging.
