Dr. Jennie L. has experience as a publishing research scientist in biology, epidemiology and applied mathematics, and as an editor for scientific and lay publications. She is proficient in Spanish and enjoys working with people to help them communicate their research to an international community.
Her work as a researcher, data analyst, author, and copy-editor prepare her to help you organize and communicate your findings in polished publications. She completed her PhD in biology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2011, where she received the Alumni Association Dissertation Award for her thesis on the dynamics of pertussis transmission and vaccination. After finishing her studies, she accepted a postdoctoral fellowship through the National Institute of Health’s (NIH) Fogarty International Center, for which she was based at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Jennie has experience publishing in high profile general science journals, such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and more specialized trade journals, such as Vaccine, The Journal of Pediatrics, and Expert Review of Vaccines.
