Dr. Khatchadourian earned his PhD in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from McGill University (Montréal, Canada). He has received a bilingual education and has excellent command of English and French. His PhD thesis focused on the role of intracellular lipid droplets (or lipid bodies) under pathological conditions, such as neuroinflammation and type 2 diabetes. After his PhD, Dr. Khatchadourian worked as a postdoc in Boston (BIDMC/Harvard Medical School), where he was investigating the molecular mechanisms in mast cells that contribute to allergic asthma. Having lived most of his life in a bilingual province (Québec), Dr. Khatchadourian has translated both scientific and non-scientific texts from English to French or French to English. Types of translated documents include scientific reports, articles, theses abstracts and research grants. Currently, on top of working as a ScienceDocs translator, Dr. Khatchadourian is studying medicine.
