Mr. Grant has spent more than three decades as an enterprise leader in commercial and executive roles, including Director, Vice President, General Manager/President, Chief Commercial Officer, and CEO positions. He has managed diverse product portfolios across the life sciences industry, working with laboratory consumables, bioprocessing capital equipment, CRO/CDMO services, and medical device products.

He brings a strong commercial background in sensor technology, single-use systems, and bioprocessing monitoring platforms, including AI-enabled technologies. His experience also includes development and oversight of ADC/AOC programs, cell line development (CLD), and CMC programs within the CDMO environment.

With career-long experience across domestic and international pharma and biotech markets, Mr. Grant has consistently delivered global business development growth by combining short-term, goal-oriented execution with long-term strategic planning to expand both established and novel technology product and service lines.

As an enterprise leader, Mr. Grant has managed business units exceeding $950M and has substantially grown sales in both established organizations and start-up ventures. He has led annual revenue growth ranging from 20% to 70% and has deep experience across business development, marketing, operations, and start-up scaling. He has led global business development, operations, and service teams worldwide while serving as a hands-on “player-coach.” His industry contact network includes more than 12,500 professionals, ranging from Director-level to C-suite executives. He also has extensive experience working with major domestic and international distribution and channel partners across the life sciences sector.

Mr. Grant has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international academic start-ups, and venture-backed life science companies. He has raised more than $100M for multiple early-stage companies and has led four organizations through successful exits. His background includes guiding companies from early formation through commercialization, strategic partnership development, and acquisition.

He has held leadership positions within regional scientific manufacturing associations and has served as a teaching assistant in biotechnology and bioprocessing curriculum programs at a leading research university. He currently serves as board chairman and advisory board member to multiple life science, synthetic biology, and medical device start-ups, as well as venture capital initiatives.

Mr. Grant is an active mentor within national innovation programs supporting university-based start-ups in bringing new life science technologies to market. He also mentors student entrepreneurs and contributes as an industry expert to science education and workforce development initiatives. Many founders he has advised have gone on to receive national recognition for their entrepreneurial achievements.

Based in the Boston biotechnology hub, Mr. Grant has been active in the life sciences industry for 33 years and continues to support emerging companies in achieving commercial scale and global impact.
