Dr. Lindsay is a highly skilled neuroscience editor who has received a B.S. in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience & Cell Biology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2010. She completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellow studying the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative conditions at Oregon Health & Science University and has worked as a full-time editor/writer for over 5 years. Her primary areas of expertise include cell biology, clinical research, endocrinology, neurology, neuroscience, pathology, pharmacology, and toxicology. She is well read and familiar with terminology in many related fields (e.g., molecular biology and physiology). Dr. Lindsay has 10 years of basic research experience, authored 8 peer-reviewed articles, and served as the volunteer editor for a quarterly magazine for women in science.
