Pharmacology Grant Writer and Editor Dr. Sara has over ten years of experience conducting academic research. She received her BA in Biology from New York University and her PhD in Pharmacology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. She was awarded both a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award from the National Cancer Institute and a Pharmacology Predoctoral Fellowship from the PhRMA Foundation to perform her graduate studies.

Dr. Sara’s dissertation encompassed a wide breadth of topics, including cancer biology; epigenetics; genetics; developmental biology; gene regulation; cancer modeling; and genome editing, including CRISPR/Cas9. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association and is currently obtaining the Essential Skills Certificate from the organization.

She has written and edited manuscripts and dissertations for her own projects and for her colleagues. As a pharmacology grant writer and editor, she has worked on grants from the following organizations:

  • Department of Defense (DoD)
  • American Urological Association (AUA)
  • PhRMA Foundation
