Dr. Robalino – English <> Spanish Translator
Dr. Robalino obtained his PhD from the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathobiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also holds a MSc in Marine Biotechnology from the University of Maryland, and a BS from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral in Ecuador. His primary research focus has been the molecular mechanisms of antiviral immunity of arthropods. This interest arises from the extraordinary diversity and importance of arthropods to human health, and increasingly from their relevance as human food. Dr. Robalino is a native Spanish speaker, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers, as well as popular science articles, book chapters, and grant proposals. He specializes in Spanish-English translation of biomedical text covering topics such as genetics, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and public health.
