Dr. Amy J – Agritech and Molecular Biology SBIR Grant Consultant
Dr. Amy J comes to ScienceDocs with deep expertise in the space of Agritech and Agribusiness. After completing her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Cellular and Molecular Biology with an emphasis in plant genetics, she worked at several tech development start-ups across the US and Canada and has served as an author of a number of publications and a co-inventor on two patents in the plant genetics and plant protection domain.
Dr. Amy J has written and served as PI for phase I and phase II SBIR and STTR grants from the NSF and USDA (USA), and an IRAP grant (Canada). She has also supported infrastructure proposals to the BC Canadian government, and developed and pitched a technology commercialization proposal that won Best in Life Sciences at the state level in Wisconsin. Through her work she has had experience working with scientists, engineers, businesspeople, C-suite executives, and politicians to compellingly communicate data cleanly and accurately.
