Dr. Ken – Academic / SBIR Grant Consultant and Writer


Academic and SBIR Grant Consultant Dr. Ken is a research scientist with expertise in polymer chemistry, microbiology, biophysics, and biomaterials. At ScienceDocs, he works with startup companies to develop and write SBIR proposals for the NIH, the NSF, and other federal funding agencies. Education. Dr. Ken holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received postdoctoral training in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.


Experience.  Dr. Ken was a tenured professor at the University of Michigan. He taught in a classroom and conducted research in a laboratory for over 15 years. Dr. Ken has been recognized as a pioneer in the field of polymer-based antimicrobial agents. He has published over 60 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. While at the university, Dr. Ken wrote research proposals and successfully secured federal grants from NIH, NSF, and industrial grants. He also served as a grant reviewer for federal and foreign agencies and private foundations.
