Dr. Pamela L.- SBIR Grant Writer, Academic Grant Editor and Instructor
SBIR Grant Writer Pamela’s research goal is to understand how interactions between hemodynamic forces, neurohormones, and inflammatory mediators regulate cardiovascular disease progression in response to Type II diabetes and hemodynamic overload. Her lab uses a combination of pre-clinical disease models, in vivo measurements of blood flow, cardiac function, and in situ measurements of arteriolar morphology and vasoreactivity. and isolation of primary cardiac myocytes, fibroblasts and cells. Biochemical, molecular and proteomic approaches are used to characterize disease progression.
