We have created this opportunity for researchers outside of ScienceDocs to be a part of our blogging and news reporting system to gain more exposure for themselves, their research, labs and schools. To serve as an example of someone who has taken advantage of this to become a Science Blogger with us to showcase his books, this log by Mr. Tom Lang serves as a good example.
Blogs and especially news posts should be informative as well as interesting for our readership, which is comprised of over 90% scientists, with the remainder in governmental and corporate support positions and others from the publishing industry. Blogs and News Posts should have pictures that are free of copyright restriction…so that means more or less that they would ideally be your own photos and if not should have written consent to use or lastly out of systems such as Creative/Wiki Commons. We also will take video which of course must also be without copyright restriction.
We believe that the best kind of post (whether a more personal blog style or more rigid and timely news style post) should come out of your own lab or work area. You can simply report on your and your colleagues’ recent publications and research pursuits. This will allow you to use your own pictures to naturally show-off your research. We further believe that you will be more likely to connect with other researchers around the world in your field through your participation in this program, which can lead to a social benefit as well as collaboration and other opportunities. Furthermore, in early 2015 we are taking applications for those who are interested in unique research funding opportunities. A foundation of exposure through this system will help those who are interested in this other new program of ours.
On that note, below is your application for this. Please fill this out as completely as possible and we will either be back to you for further details or will go ahead get you right into the system:
