ScienceDocs Social has been many years in the making. We have listened to our clients, who have told us they wanted to be able to not only have more interaction with their specialists here (editors, statisticians, translators, etc.), but also want to connect with other scientists and professionals in their own fields of research and areas of interest.
Therefore, we have created an extended community that is comprised of Groups, Forums, Blogs and News, Collaborative Opportunities, data sharing platforms and more. We have given all logged-on users the ability to participate in all of this at no cost. Additional opportunities include a Global Job Board for Employers and Job Seekers to connect, and we are soon to present a Crowdfunding Opportunities area as well as ScienceDocs Education, slated to launch within the year. Furthermore, we have done this on a 128-bit encrypted platform which enables the most secure environment possible.
How to Connect
For security purposes, any type of social interaction on this site is only possible if you are a logged-in user, which only takes a minute and is free: User Login
Once logged-in, you will be able to comment on blogs, post and create topics in the ScienceDocs Forums and participate in groups. You will also be able to create your profile, as well as directly connect with and message any other member. All users will have the option of being private in any aspect of their public profiles and communication.
If you would like to promote yourself, your publications, lab, school, etc., we will selectively allow non ScienceDocs researchers to blog and/or share news with us. We will give any researcher who does this his/her own page on our website. If you are interested in this opportunity, please visit this page.
We hope you will use and enjoy these resources and would appreciate any input you may have along the way.
