Startup Finance Advisor Mr. Eli has over 35 years of experience in the Finance, Education, Insurance, IT, and Non-Profit worlds, Eli is a versed advisor, analyst, and administrator, with knowledge of small (and large) business needs, educational and entrepreneurship environments, and federal, other governmental, and private foundation grants and contracts. At ScienceDocs, Eli assists with grant and contract applications, administrative forms and requirements, as well as documentation and compliance needs. Experience
In addition to consulting with ScienceDocs, Eli has owned and operated both a Financial Services and an Event Planning firm for nearly 10 years. In this capacity, he has written and administered federal, state, local, and private grants totalling over $11M, served as financial and administrative support for close to a dozen small businesses with nearly $4M in revenue, and directly planned and overseen 5-6 fundraising festivals and events annually. Simultaneously, Eli served as the Executive Director/Superintendent for a local charter school (300 students, 40 staff, $3M annual budget), and as a Board Member, Treasurer, and Finance Manager for up to 6 local Non-Profits concurrently. Previously, Eli’s experience included 25 years working as an Actuary, IT Project Designer and Manager, and Forecaster for both multinational Insurance entities and State Level agencies.
